Drying and Dehumidifying

When your property is experiences water damage, extracting the water is usually not enough to guarantee your home’s safety from future damage. After any required demolition is complete any structure and contents that remain must be completely dried and the area dehumidified prior to calling water damage restoration services finished. Even a professionally-extracted carpet can hold an alarming amount of water, potentially damaging the subflooring below. This would create an ideal environment for mold growth.

If you have a water loss, we will likely leave air movers and/or dehumidifiers to dry out the areas that have been affected. We are always pursuing updates to our education on the best equipment available in dehumidifiers, industrial air movers, and extraction equipment.

Dehumidifiers are great investments to have in the event of even the slightest water loss, and for preventing excessive moisture from damaging your home. When choosing a dehumidifier, be sure to speak with a professional about your specific needs and area coverage.
